Recent headlines about our program and our amazing students: 

PDI Students Win Two of Four Top Prizes in Innovation Conference: The $15,000 gold prize was won by PDI alumni Eben Bayer and Gavin McIntyre; the $10,000 silver prize was awarded to PDI students Sarah DiNovo and Louis Martinelli

Eben and Gavin, using a design for "green" insulation they developed in PDI,  also won the 21st Century Challenge Competition of the Said Business School of Oxford University ($20,000) and in 2008 they subsequently won the 500,000 euro international PICNIC Green Challenge competition prize.

Once again, PDI students swept the awards for the spring 2008 "Change the World" challenge.

Peter Zummo presented his creative project to build houses from water bottles at the annual "March Madness for the Mind" event of the NCIIA. Along with PDI student Matt Naples, their project was featured in a recent article in the New York Times.

Rensselaer was selected by Business Week as one of the top sixty design schools in the world.  The story is here .
